Are you a fan of M&M’s? I am a sucker for chocolate-coated nuts. In earlier days, M&M’s came to my native through my cousins. I could munch on those little treats forever. But again, it came in Milk chocolate. It’s still hard to find dark chocolate M&M’s in Dubai. Semi-sweet dark chocolates are my jam. Instead of searching everywhere, I found it easy and healthy to make Peanut M&M’s Clusters at home. You only require a few ingredients, moreover, it’s finger-licking delicious (not the slogan though!). The recipe is so simple, and I have used a semi-sweet dark chocolate bar here. You can use the cocoa powder if you want to make it from scratch.
Ingredients:
- Semi-sweet dark chocolate bar -1
- Peeled roasted peanut – 1 cup
How to prepare:
Melt the chocolate using a Double-boiler (If you don’t own a double-boiler, boil water in a saucepan and place the chocolate bar in a bowl above the pan. The chocolate will melt and reach a paste consistency.
or
If you have patience and want to prepare the chocolate paste from scratch, mix cocoa powder, coconut oil, sweetener and vanilla extract.
Add the Peanuts to the Chocolate paste and mix well until the peanuts are entirely covered.
Replace the chocolate-peanut to a tray as clusters. Freeze them if you are impatient or let the clusters air-dry to become delicious snacks.
There you go! Now you have the dark chocolate peanut M&M’s clusters to munch on. It’s much healthier than the normal M&M’s candy, also it’s not too sweet. It’s absolutely easy to prepare, and you can store it in the fridge for weeks.
I truly hope you enjoyed this delightful recipe, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to share your comments below!
